Sainte-Maxime sets at the final foothills of the Massif des Maures, in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. This beach resort scattered with pedestrian areas and gardens offers a great view on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a lovely town to visit on foot; particularly on market days. Saint-Maxime is well appreciated for the long, fine sand beaches, ideal for a family outing.
